Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 12, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med-Surg/Stepdown Telemetry position requiring 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience. Details Med-Surg unit setting within an acute care hospital Placement on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry unit based on traveler's skills and greatest need Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 Works every other weekend and every other holiday Uses Epic EMR Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed Requirements Active WI or compact RN license Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA required) Minimum 2 years PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience Travel nursing experience preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Deliver patient care on a Med-Surg or Stepdown/Telemetry unit depending on facility need Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility Only one submission permitted per Ascension facility system wide Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with management at least 45 days before assignment end date
