RN – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele) Position Details Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks
3 × 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Scheduling: Block scheduling is not available. Alternative
4 × 12-hour shifts may be considered if available. Floating: Required based on facility needs. Weekend & Holiday Requirements Every other weekend.
Every other holiday. Experience Requirements Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience. Recent experience within the past year is required.
Strong clinical skills in: Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management. Rapid Response and Code Team activation. Peripheral IV line care and management.
Nasal cannula and oxygen administration, including oxygen tanks. Non-invasive airway management. Isolation precautions.
License & Certifications License: New York (NY) RN license. Required
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Candidates who have already applied for a New York RN license may still be submitted. The license application submission date must be provided.
Candidates with disqualifying findings on their nursing license will not be accepted. Pay Information Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a bill rate that is $15 lower than the standard travel rate. Time-Off Policy All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.
RTO requested after the offer will not be approved. Travelers are responsible for arranging coverage for any additional shifts they cannot work. Call-Off Policy The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
