Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a surgical unit position requiring MD or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of current nursing experience. Details Work on a surgical unit caring for orthopedic, GI, spine, trauma, and general surgery patients Provide pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care, including orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and neuro-surgery cases Multiple levels of care provided including adult inpatient acute and telemetry units Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month Requirements Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required Dysrhythmia management experience required BLS certification required EPIC experience preferred 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred Experience in a comparable facility size (500+ beds) required Additional Information Deliver nursing care to adult surgical patients across multiple acuity levels Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Strong candidates preferred given the high standards of this academic medical center
