Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 26, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a 12-hour day shift position requiring prior MS/SD experience and an active OK or compact RN license. Details Med Specialty Step Down unit within a hospital setting Cares for patients with health issues ranging from simple to complex medical conditions Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours) Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products Monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed Requirements Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required MS/SD experience required ICU experience and ACLS certification preferred Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills required Additional Information Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and delegates tasks to support staff as needed Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge education Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Returning workers limited to one contract extension up to 26 weeks total, followed by a 6-month separation before reapplying Facility enforces strict compliance and credentialing deadlines with no start date flexibility 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or assignment termination
