Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Number of Openings: 2 Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Bellevue, NE. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact on patient care. As an RN on the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, you will provide care with a focus on the orthopedic patient population, alongside other surgical specialties.
This 36-bed unit accommodates telemetry monitoring and has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, with rare instances of 1:7 depending on staffing. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting, with proficiency in EPIC charting and the ability to administer drips. BLS certification is required, with ACLS, NIH, and CPI preferred.
Travelers are expected to float to meet staffing needs across various units, including but not limited to 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, and more. This position requires flexibility, including working 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period, and the ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
