Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Telemetry Shift Details This position requires working night shifts, comprising three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The candidate will be expected to work at least every other holiday.
The Registered Nurse in this role will provide care for patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience in telemetry care, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. Qualifications Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
At least 12 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty area applying for is required. Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand. AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
NIH certification must be obtained prior to the start date. Must have Epic experience. One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applying specialty is required for submission.
Assessment Requirements During orientation, the candidate will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment. An acceptable score on both assessments is required.
