Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Med/Surg RN) – Night Shift
Night Shift | 3x11.5-Hour Shifts | 20:00 – 08:30 | 34.5 Hours per Week Schedule Structure: Monthly scheduling (3 shifts per week). Full schedule flexibility required. Weekend Coverage: Candidate must be available to work every other weekend (confirmation required on submission cover sheet).
On-Call / Standby: Standard department schedule guidelines apply. Floating Protocol & Unit Details: Medical/Surgical bedside nursing care in a correctional facility setting (Rikers Island). Duties include physical assessments, pre/post-operative care, IV therapy/insertion, phlebotomy, wound care, dressing changes, catheter insertion, medication administration, and discharge planning.
EMR: Epic preferred.
