Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 15, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring cardiovascular experience and a passing EKG test score. Details Cardiovascular facility with a primary cardiovascular med/surg unit Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30 Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required as needed Floating required to any unit in an RN capacity, with expectation to take a full patient ratio Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active IL RN license required; temporary licenses accepted if proof of permanent license application submission is provided BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred, American Red Cross accepted) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 travel contract Cardiovascular nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history Must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration Must pass an on-site EKG test on Day 1 of orientation to continue the assignment New graduates not accepted Two current professional references required from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant specialty area within the last year Additional Information Provide telemetry nursing care within a cardiovascular-focused unit Local candidates accepted at the same rate Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated from employment for at least 12 months before being submitted as a traveler RTO for 13-week contracts limited to a maximum of 7 days Facility conducts a brief interview of approximately 10-15 minutes prior to placement
