Bi-Weekly Orientation
Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate. Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing skills and prior experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities✓ Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.✓ Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.✓ Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.✓ Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered.✓ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.✓ Provide patient and family education and support.✓ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.✓ Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.✓ Respond effectively to emergency and trauma situations.
Qualifications✓ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or eligible compact license.✓ Emergency Room/ED experience required.✓ Level I or Level II Trauma experience required.✓ BLS certification required.✓ ACLS certification required.✓ ENPC or PALS certification required.✓ TNCC certification required.✓ Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and emergency response skills.✓ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
