MS/Tele RN Requirements
2 years; travel experience required. Patient Ratio: 1:5. Charting: Epic required.
Hospital
Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I trauma experience required.
BLS and NIHSS. Clinical
IV therapy, phlebotomy, central lines, PICC lines, ports, blood products, and chemotherapy administration. Respiratory: BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, ABG interpretation, oxygen therapy, and tracheostomy care. Neuro: CVA, intracranial bleeds, post-TPA care, craniotomy, seizures, TBI, and neurosurgery.
Cardiac/Telemetry: Cardiac drips, heparin protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and emergency response. Additional
CBI, hemodialysis management, feeding tubes, wound care, wound vacs, IV insulin protocols, PCA, and surgical drains. Work Settings: MS/Tele, Neuro Stepdown, Telemetry, and Plastics.
