The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care. Key Responsibilities Accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Demonstrate clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development. Delegate patient care tasks based on the qualifications and experience of the available staff. Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.
Be willing to float between various departments and locations as necessary. Qualifications Valid Arizona nursing license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting. Ability to manage a patient ratio of 6:1. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Work Schedule Night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Flexibility to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week scheduling period. Scrub Colors Any color.
Location Various locations within the region including the following cities: Oro Valley, AZ ; Houghton, AZ ; Sahuarita, AZ .
