Nights, 4x12hrs Hours: 48 hrs/wk Start Date: Dec 7, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 4 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring AL or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience. Details Acute care Med/Surg Telemetry units including Heart/Stroke, Pulmonary, Oncology, and Subintensive Medical Unit Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment with option for 36 or 48 hours per week Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required as scheduled Floating to other units or hospitals within the system required Uses Meditech EMR Requirements Active RN license in Alabama or Compact license required (no temporary or pending licenses accepted) Associate degree in nursing required AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Minimum 2 years overall specialty experience required, or 18 months with 1 year of recent specialty experience NURSYS license verification required Additional Information Provide acute care nursing services across multiple Med/Surg Telemetry units Dress code requires solid navy scrubs Onsite and online pre-testing required prior to start Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mileage restrictions Parking available onsite
