Now Hiring: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) 📍 Location: Please confirm with the facility 🏥 Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) 🕒
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift) 📅 Possible Start Dates: November 9 or November 16 Job Overview The facility is seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide patient care in a small, 3-bed ICU with a generally low-acuity patient population. Strong Stepdown/PCU or Medical-Surgical experience may also be considered. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with critical and acute medical conditions.
Monitor and care for patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), respiratory distress, and atrial fibrillation (AFib). Support patient care needs in the ICU and potentially float to the Medical-Surgical unit when the ICU census is low. Precept and support other nurses as needed.
Maintain accurate patient documentation using the facility’s Oracle EMR system. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of RN experience . ICU, Stepdown/PCU, or strong Medical-Surgical experience.
Critical-care experience is highly preferred. Experience with medication administration and managing acute patient conditions. First-Time Travelers First-time travelers may be considered on a tentative basis if they have the ideal clinical experience.
