$1,750–$1,840 Start Date: October 12, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week
3 shifts per week
12-hour nights, 6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m. Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5–1:6 Float Requirement: Float among medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed Charting: Epic Travel Registered Nurse Requirements At least 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in medical-surgical and/or telemetry nursing Current Registered Nurse license or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or may be required based on unit needs Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients in an acute-care setting Demonstrated ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and time-management skills Comfort working independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with varied medical-surgical and telemetry diagnoses Monitor patients, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage patients requiring telemetry monitoring Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes Provide central line, peripheral IV, oxygen, and isolation precaution management Support patients with conditions including cerebrovascular events and renal failure Document patient care accurately in Epic Collaborate with respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rehabilitation, IV teams, rapid response teams, and other support services Float to designated medical-surgical and telemetry units while maintaining high standards of acute-care nursing Apply now for this South Carolina travel nursing opportunity and join the healthcare team in Anderson!
