Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Cozad, NE. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care while enjoying a supportive work environment. The role involves a rotation of every 3rd weekend.
Key
Provide direct patient care in the Med Surg and Telemetry units. Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation and communication.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nebraska or Compact RN License. Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited College of Nursing. 1 year of full-time experience in rural healthcare preferred. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within the first two years of employment (facility can consider this pending with a firm date for obtaining certification). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred. Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) preferred. Valid Driver's License.
