Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 15, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring MS/Tele experience and a TN or compact RN license. Details MS/Tele unit treating Ortho/Spine/Med/Surg patients 1:7 patient ratios Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:30-07:00) on a 36/36 schedule Required to work every other weekend No call requirements Required to float Epic charting system experience preferred Requirements Active TN or compact RN license required AHA BLS certification required (ACLS and NIHSS preferred) 1 year of RN experience required MS/Tele and Med/Surg experience required Experience with IV therapy, central/PICC line management, and blood product administration Respiratory care skills including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and oxygen administration Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and telemetry Wound care and isolation precaution/PPE knowledge preferred Relias EKG testing required within 72 hours of signing Drug test required 12-14 days prior to start Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines Additional Information Provide nursing care across Ortho trauma, total joint replacement, renal, neurological, and plastics patient populations Participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside patient care duties General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBL modules Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty due to census needs Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted First-time travelers are welcome to apply
