Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Number of Openings: 2 Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Omaha, NE. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing critical care to patients in need. As a travel RN, you will be essential in meeting the staffing needs of the facility, with the possibility of floating to various units based on your experience.
Key
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Telemetry units. Prepare to float frequently to meet the hospital's staffing needs. Utilize EPIC charting for patient documentation.
Administer drips as required on all floors. Collaborate with care teams, including CNAs and care techs.
Active RN license with 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital. BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred. First-time travelers are not accepted; however, candidates with 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center may be considered.
Must be willing to float to different units, including potentially the Bellevue campus. 100% nicotine-free facility. Scheduling Details: Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Holiday requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted, submitted with application. Additional Information: Scrubs: Mandatory Steele gray scrubs with the facility logo. Parking: Monthly permits available or daily rate parking options.
Locals accepted: No; candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility. Pending licenses accepted, but must be in hand at the time of submission for booking. GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
