Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Towson, MD | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 8 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holidays required as scheduled Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting Monitor and assess patients, responding to changes in condition in a timely manner Float within specialty and to lower acuity units as needed — travelers are first to float Adhere to facility scheduling policies; block scheduling and special scheduling requests are not accommodated Maintain compliance with all onboarding and documentation requirements prior to start date Required Qualifications Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact license at time of submission BLS certification (AHA only) required ACLS certification (AHA only) required CPI certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification required Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address) Preferred Experience / Skills Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting Comfort with floating within scope and across acuity levels without restrictions Experience working in a high-compliance, fast-paced acute care environment
