Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro ICU Job Overview The Neuro ICU is a 12-bed critical care unit dedicated to the intensive management of patients with life-threatening neurological and neurosurgical conditions. Nurses in this unit will work with patients experiencing central nervous system tumors, complex spine surgery, acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, endovascular interventions, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular diseases, status epilepticus, and central nervous system infections.

Shift Details

Nights, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Every other weekend and holiday are required. Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Time Off A total of 40 hours can be approved for time off.

Certifications Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) NIH Stroke Certification (can submit with pending certification) Qualifications Must adhere to the float policy. A Virginia nursing license is required but can be submitted with pending status. Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.
