We are currently seeking a skilled Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate start position. This role is critical for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, specialized environment. Position Details Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with the potential to extend up to 26 weeks upon request.
3x12 hour days (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM), with the option for 4x12-hour shifts available upon request. Responsibilities The Neuro ICU RN will be responsible for: Monitoring and managing patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, neurosurgery, and complex spine issues. Providing care for neuro-specific diagnoses and complications.
Administering special procedures such as external ventricular drains (EVDs) and therapeutic thermoregulation. Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. Experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, specifically in neuro care.
Proficiency in using the Epic electronic health record system. Experience within a large Level 1/Level 2 facility. Patient Care Focus The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, particularly for individuals experiencing neurological challenges.
