Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse in Washington, DC. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on critical care for neurological patients. You will be part of a dedicated team, providing high-quality care to patients with complex needs.

Key

Provide nursing care in the Neuro ICU, utilizing specialized equipment such as EVD, Raumedic Bolt, Artic Sun, CVVH, and Lytic catheter Flo-tracker. Monitor and manage patients requiring conscious sedation, ICP monitoring, and ventilation support. Float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity as needed.

Participate in the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam, achieving a minimum overall score of 80% and a perfect score on lethal rhythms.

Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience. Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment. Current DC nursing license is required prior to the start date; pending DC licenses accepted with proof at submission.

BLS, NIH, and ACLS are required; CCRN is preferred. Skills in Level 1 trauma, pulmonary artery lines, IV starts, and phlebotomy are preferred. This facility requires all employees to have the flu vaccine.

Shifts will primarily be night shifts, with a schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). The position may require working weekends and holidays as needed. GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
