Neuro ICU RN — Assignment Details Unit: 8-bed Neuro ICU Requirements At least 2 years of experience with a Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background Strong neuro assessment skills and familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required One completed travel assignment preferred Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS and NIHSS required; AHA or ARC accepted for BLS/ACLS Epic experience required Neurointerventional experience a plus Strong independent practice, teamwork and adaptability Schedule and patient care Patients: Stroke, TBI, head injuries and neurosurgical patients Procedures: Neuro assessments and bedside ICU procedures, including support for line placement, intubation, and bolt/drain placement with Neurosurgery Floating: Between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU; may float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and every other holiday On-call: None Scrubs: Any color
