Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro Stepdown/Telemetry position requiring 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience and a MO or compact RN license. Details Work in the Neuro Stepdown unit of a Level II Trauma, teaching hospital Flexacuity unit ranging from PCU/Stepdown to Telemetry patient needs Patient ratio of 1:4 Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating may be required to similar units EPIC charting system required Requirements Active RN license (MO or Compact) currently in hand BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS strongly preferred Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience required Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry monitoring Skilled in IV therapy, PICC line management, blood product administration, and port access/management Respiratory care experience including BiPAP/CPAP management and tracheostomy care Experience with insulin drip titration and heparin protocols Wound care and isolation precaution/PPE experience Additional Information Provide nursing care across a flexacuity unit spanning stepdown and telemetry patient populations Must work 4 of 8 designated holiday dates: Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, 12/26, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Navy blue scrub color required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted RTO dates must be submitted at time of consideration
