Details NICU setting within a Respiratory Care department Responsible for transport of infants to/from referral health systems Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week On-call requirements apply 13-week assignment length Requirements Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable (North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care or Minnesota Board of Medical Practice) Current BLS certification from AHA Current ACLS certification from AHA Current PALS certification from AHA Current NRP certification Additional Information Performs evaluations, patient assessments, and diagnostic and therapeutic treatments Provides patient and family education and support Documents care accurately including EMR charting, medication charting, and incident reports Identifies significant changes in patient condition and communicates findings to caregivers Cleans, assembles, and performs preventative maintenance on respiratory equipment Processes patient charges and verifies reports as needed Provides high-quality critical care in accordance with organizational patient care guidelines
