Concurrent employment is acceptable only if it does not overlap with the required schedule. * Candidate has 3–5+ years of Trauma Registry experience. * Candidate has direct TraumaBase experience. Candidates without TraumaBase experience will not be considered. Candidate must be available to work the required full-time schedule. Candidate must be fully dedicated to this assignment during scheduled working hours.

Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal onboarding. Remote candidates are responsible for providing their own equipment. Required

Education High School Diploma or equivalent (Required) Associate Degree in Allied Health, Anatomy & Physiology, Health Information Management, or related field (Preferred)

3–5+ years of Trauma Registry experience Direct TraumaBase experience (Required) 2+ years of AIS coding within a Trauma Registry ICD-10 coding experience ISS calculation experience Trauma abstraction and registry maintenance Ability to work independently with minimal training Certifications (Preferred): CSTR RHIT CCS AIS Certification Technical

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information Dedicated remote workspace with reliable internet Own computer/equipment for the assignment Remote Equipment

Remote candidates are responsible for providing the following equipment for the duration of the assignment: *Laptop or desktop computer *At least one monitor (dual monitors strongly recommended) *Keyboard and mouse *Reliable high-speed internet connection There are no minimum hardware specifications; however, candidates must have equipment capable of efficiently performing all Trauma Registrar responsibilities, including chart abstraction, TraumaBase navigation, and working across multiple systems simultaneously.

Strongly Recommended: *Backup internet connection (mobile hotspot or secondary internet service) to minimize downtime and prevent interruptions due to connectivity issues. *Webcam and microphone for virtual meetings, training, and communication with the facility. Key

Identify trauma patients for inclusion in the Trauma Registry. Abstract trauma patient data using TraumaBase. Assign ICD-10 and AIS codes.

Calculate Injury Severity Scores (ISS). Maintain trauma registry quality and data integrity. Validate registry data and resolve edits.

Support NTDB, TQIP, NORTR, and state reporting requirements. Identify and document Performance Improvement (PI) opportunities. Generate reports for Trauma Committee and leadership.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA, and regulatory standards. Perform other related duties as assigned.
