An opportunity is available for an experienced OB Registered Nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a strong background in obstetrics and the ability to provide excellent patient care during labor and delivery. Shift Details Full-time position for days Shift times: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 36 hours per week Duration: 8 weeks Holiday coverage required Certifications Required AHA BLS ACLS NRP Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care in the delivery room, including receiving newborns.
Monitor fetal heart rates and make assessments as needed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients and their families. If census is low, the healthcare provider may be floated to MedSurg.
Qualifications Must have delivery room experience. Previous MedSurg experience is required, as nurses may take patients on occasion. Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Work Environment The OB unit operates on a routine schedule without on-call responsibilities for the nursing staff. Location Position based in a healthcare facility located in City, State .
