Exciting Opportunity: Acute Travel RN in Observation Unit! Join our dynamic team as an Acute Travel RN in the Observation Unit at a premier specialty care hospital in Marquette, Michigan. Bring your skills and passion for patient care to a facility known for its Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, and more.

Position Details: - Position Type: Travel RN -

7P-7:30A

  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per pay period (0.9 FTE)
  • Shift Pattern: 5 Days/5 Nights
  • Weekend/Holiday

Must work weekends and holidays - Experience Required: 1 year of Med/Surg experience Unit Information:

  • Observation Unit Size: 10 Beds
  • Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (no defined ratios)
  • Patient Population: Adult patients (18 years and older)

Key

  • Monitor and care for patients meeting observation status criteria
  • Administer care for conditions such as chest pain, asthma exacerbations, TIAs, abdominal pain, urinary issues, blood sugar problems, DVT/PE, cellulitis, post-procedural monitoring, and minor trauma

Certifications Required:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale Competency
  • Telemetry/ECG Competency
  • Optional: TNCC, ENPC

Skills &

  • Must-Have: 1+ years of med/surg experience
  • Preferred: Telemetry experience
  • Float
