Caregiver Role Overview The Caregiver is responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals in need of personal care. This role involves fostering a safe and supportive environment to enhance the quality of life for clients. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor client health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel. Help in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
Administer medications as prescribed and assist with health-related tasks. Support clients in their mobility and transportation needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a caregiver or similar role preferred. Possess a valid caregiver certification or be willing to obtain certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy and a passion for helping others. Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility. Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
