As an OT - Hand Therapist, You’ll Achieve Success By:Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plansDiagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concernsUsing exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobilityRecording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient successBasic computer skillsCPR and first aid certification required Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred ORCHT-eligible (minimum 4,000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of practice), awaiting board examination, ORLevel II fieldwork in hand therapy, with relevant continuing education, and 1–2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience as a licensed OT, ORNew grads with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy with a a strong clinical interest in upper extremity rehabilitation and a commitment to pursuing advanced training and certification in hand therapy About:
