As the Occupational Therapist on this 8-hour day shift schedule, you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for an adult and geriatric population with diverse diagnoses, including post-surgical conditions, orthopedic injuries, neurological events, and chronic medical complexities.
A typical day includes performing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, leading functional and ADL-focused interventions, and documenting timely, accurate notes in the electronic medical record. You will work closely with physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, case management, and social services in an interdisciplinary team model that emphasizes collaborative care and clear communication.
