Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 3 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology Infusion (Chemo) position requiring chemotherapy certification and 3+ years of experience. Details Work in the 4W Oncology Infusion (Chemo) unit of an acute care hospital Administer IV chemotherapy drugs and other intravenous therapies Provide pre- and post-treatment patient assessments and care Access ports or peripheral IV sites for lab draws and IV therapies Monitor patients during treatment and respond to side effects or reactions per protocol Uses Cerner EMR and Intellidose (TxM) charting systems Schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:30am-5pm and Friday 7am-Noon 13-week assignment with day shift hours Requirements Active RN license (IN or Compact) required Minimum 3 years of RN experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required Chemotherapy certification required Prior chemotherapy infusion experience strongly preferred Experience with Cerner and Intellidose (TxM) preferred BSN not required for this position Additional Information Scrub colors accepted include solid Ceil Blue, Royal Blue, Burgundy/Wine, and Pewter Gray Must complete CBC, CMP, Urinalysis, and Reticulocyte Count lab testing prior to start Flexibility with scheduling may be requested based on patient treatment needs Local candidates accepted if residing 50 miles or more from the facility
