Details Outpatient clinic setting within a Cancer and Infusion Center Day shift, 4x10s, rotating days with no set weekly schedule Shift hours approximately 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM No on-call requirements Uses EPIC EMR Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification required ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required ONCC-CHIM certification required 2-3 years of recent oncology nursing experience required EPIC experience required BSN preferred Hospital or physician's office experience preferred Additional Information Deliver coordinated outpatient nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff Coordinate care across disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care plans Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient outcomes Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane care Provide education and health information to patients, families, and treatment teams Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for minor surgical procedures and assist physicians as needed Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction and local rates matching travel rates Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
