Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM🚫 No weekends | No holidays | No call 💼 Position: Permanent, Full-Time Position OverviewThe Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its oncology team in a full-time permanent role. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with the opportunity to work in both outpatient oncology and hospital-based rounding.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting. Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress. Collaborate with oncologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team.
Participate in hospital rounding and coordinate inpatient oncology care. Manage follow-up visits and address acute and chronic patient needs. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and supportive care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ideal CandidateValid and active NP or PA license. Oncology experience strongly preferred.
Outpatient clinical experience preferred. Hospitalist or inpatient experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is comfortable splitting time between clinic and hospital rounding, although this is not a requirement.
