8-Hour Days Contract: 13 Weeks Setting: Outpatient Oncology Oncology Nurse Navigator RN to support its new Outpatient Oncology Program. They are specifically looking for a nurse with previous Oncology Nurse Navigator experience. Role Overview Coordinate patient care from diagnosis through treatment Provide education and support to oncology patients and their families Collaborate with providers, pharmacy, infusion staff, and ancillary departments Assist with care coordination and treatment planning Occasional chemotherapy infusions may be required Requirements Previous Oncology Nurse Navigator experience – required Oncology infusion experience – required BLS & ACLS ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Certification – required Strong oncology care coordination and patient education skills Epic Beacon experience preferred
