Travel OR RN – Nights | 8-Week Contract Location: Torrance, CA Start Dates: October 29 or November 5, 2026 Contract Length: 8 weeks
Nights | 36 hours per week Shift
Weekends and holidays required; no block scheduling Local Travelers Accepted Pay Package – Travel Gross Weekly Estimate: $2,850 Taxable
$1,050/week Housing Stipend: $1,800/week Pay Package – Local Gross Weekly Estimate: $2,520 Taxable
$2,520/week Position Overview Join a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Torrance, CA, offering a revamped OR department with a strong emphasis on education and clinical learning. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operating Room RN seeking exposure to a diverse patient population and a broad range of surgical specialties. Responsibilities Circulate and assist during elective, urgent, and emergent surgical procedures.
Apply sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation knowledge, and OR protocols across multiple specialties. Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in a Level I Trauma environment. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary surgical team.
Required Experience Minimum of 2 years of recent OR RN experience in a metropolitan Level I Trauma facility serving a diverse population. Comprehensive experience across multiple surgical specialties, including: Orthopedics Ophthalmology Colorectal ENT Plastic Surgery Gynecology Urology Vascular Podiatry Thoracic General Surgery Required License & Certifications Active California RN license AHA BLS MAB or CPI LA City Fire and Life Safety Card ( must be LA City-issued ) Interested?
