OR - Operating Room (RN)

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OR nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Role Responsibilities Prepare and manage the operating room environment for surgical procedures.

Assist the surgical team in various orthopedic, neurosurgical, ENT, general, and eye procedures. Ensure that all required surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly. Monitor patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.

Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients. Qualifications Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting. Charge experience is required.

Pediatric OR experience is preferred. Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required. Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC.

Must be a non-smoker; facility requires nicotine testing as part of the hiring process. Ability to scrub in surgical procedures is preferred, though not required. Work Schedule This position typically involves a Monday through Friday work week, with a combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts.
