We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various surgical specialties and be committed to providing exceptional patient care in the operating room. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for surgical procedures.
Perform nursing duties related to patient care before, during, and after surgery. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective surgical interventions. Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia as directed by anesthesia providers.
Maintain sterile environments and comply with infection control protocols. Provide patient education and support to patients and their families. Qualifications Active RN license required.
BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only). Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room, with proficiency in General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotic Surgery, Orthopedics, and GYN specialties. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend call as required (currently 1 in 4 weekends).
Comfortable working 10-hour shifts with a schedule of 4 days per week. Schedule The position requires 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00, with no scheduled weekends, but weekend call is mandatory. Additional Information Holiday availability is required.
