🔥 32-HOUR DAY-SHIFT OPERATING ROOM (OR) RN CONTRACT – BEAVER DAM, WI An immediate 13-week travel contract opening is available for an experienced Perioperative / Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin (Dodge County / Greater Madison corridor). Operating within an active 8-suite surgical department, this position features a desirable 4x8-hour daytime schedule (06:30 AM – 15:00 PM / 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 32 hours guaranteed weekly).
NO SCHEDULED REGULAR WEEKEND SHIFTS! FREE ON-SITE PARKING! 1:1 INTRA-OPERATIVE RATIOS! The surgical suites support a wide variety of multi-specialty cases across General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotic Surgery (da Vinci Xi), Ophthalmology/Cataracts, Gynecology, Urology, and ENT.

Day shifts, 4x8-Hours (06:30 AM – 15:00 PM / 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, scheduled Monday – Friday). No scheduled regular weekend shifts! Guaranteed Hours: 32 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (November 30, 2026 start date). On-Call
Weekend on-call rotation required (currently scheduled every 4th weekend); holidays worked as needed based on unit operations. Department Setting & Ratios: 8-suite Operating Room (Unit: SURG/OR RN). Direct 1:1 intra-operative nurse-to-patient staffing ratio.
Floating Scope: Floats within surgical services as operationally needed. Clinical Scope & Specialty Case Mix (Hard Stop Requirements): General Surgery: Cholecystectomies, open/laparoscopic appendectomies, colon resections, hernia repairs, and partial/total thyroidectomies. Orthopedics & Podiatry: Total joint replacements, ACL reconstructions, arthroscopies, fracture reductions (open and closed), and bunionectomies/fusions.
Robotics (da Vinci Xi): Gynecologic, colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urologic robotic procedures. Gynecology: Abdominal/vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopies, dilation & curettage, and anterior/posterior repairs. Ophthalmology: Cataract extractions and intraocular lens implants.
Urology & ENT: Cystoscopies, transurethral resections, nephrectomies, septoplasties, tonsillectomies/adenoidectomies, and ear tubes. EMR System: Cerner preferred (minimum 95% barcode scanning compliance required). 🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care Operating Room circulating RN experience within the last 3 years. Verified circulating competence across General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotics, Orthopedics, and GYN is strictly required (hard stop). Travel
Prior travel nursing experience is required.
Active Wisconsin RN License or Compact/NLC Multistate License strictly in hand at submittal .
