BLS Certification Shift Notes Shifts available: 7A-5P, 7A-7P; options for 36 or 40 hours per week with on-call duties. Travelers may select shifts based on availability. ASAP start required; availability through June 1st.
Unit Overview Number of Surgical Suites: 23 Average Number of Cases per Day: 75 Common Case Types: Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Cardiac, and Exploratory Laparoscopy. Job Requirements Must possess experience in scrubbing and/or circulating Neuro, Ortho, and Trauma cases. Must have experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
Weekend rotation required; must be available for on-call duties. Charge Nurse available on all shifts. Call Expectations All travelers are expected to take the same amount of call as permanent staff.
Call response time is 45 minutes. Travelers will participate in the call rotation system and may be assigned to circulate various types of cases, depending on the needs of the unit. Schedule Flexibility Self-scheduling is allowed within reason; block scheduling not guaranteed.
