Our client, a major academic medical center, is looking for an RN - Operating Room to start right away. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Borough Park, Brooklyn, NY, this opportunity offers a dynamic and diverse work environment. Responsibilities Provide nursing care in a Level-1 Adult Trauma and Peds Level-2 Trauma Main OR with 15 multi-specialty operating rooms.
Assist in various surgeries including general, urology, GYN, robotic, plastics, pediatric, orthopedics, and thoracic. Float to other units such as the Ambulatory Surgery Unit as needed. Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of OR nursing experience, preferably with trauma and multi-specialty cases. Active New York State RN Licensure and BLS certification.
Previous travel nursing experience required.
