SC/Compact Nursing License; BLS; at least 2 years experience in a pediatric setting; minimum 2 traveler contract experience; experience preferred in pediatrics and/or women’s surgery; on-call; night shift; 3x12s; weekend required, likely only Friday nights; no on-call disturbance; night shift only; open to accommodating block schedule at manager’s discretion; candidate must meet local radius rule of 60 miles; all RTO requests must be included at submission; hurricane season from June to November may require emergency response assignment; travelers may be called off 10 hours per 2-week period.
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the operating room setting. Assist with pre-operative preparations and post-operative recovery of pediatric patients. Ensure compliance with safety and radiation badge protocols.
Float within scope to meet facility needs as required. Adhere to scheduled night shifts on a 3x12-hour rotation. Work collaboratively within a hospital environment to meet patient care standards.
