4 shifts per week Shift Duration: 10 Hour Days Hours: 40 hours per week Work Arrangement: On-site Job Requirements At least 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, and patient safety practices Ability to work effectively in a collaborative surgical team environment Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing surgical schedules and patient care needs Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures Prepare the operating room and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly Maintain a sterile field and support adherence to infection prevention protocols Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and surgical staff to promote efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and document care accurately Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and continuity of care in the surgical setting Located in southern New Jersey, Harrison Township offers convenient access to the greater Philadelphia region, local parks, and a comfortable suburban setting.
