We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience, including required experience in robotics, orthopedics, and urology. The OR RN is responsible for providing safe, high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures while collaborating with surgeons and the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities Perform circulating and/or scrubbing duties for a variety of operative procedures. Coordinate patient admissions and preparation for the operating suite. Maintain sterile technique and adhere to established perioperative standards, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with the surgical team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized intraoperative patient care. Serve as a communication liaison between patients, families, surgeons, and other members of the operating room team. Prepare the operating room for patients and scheduled surgical procedures.
Assemble and verify the functionality of surgical equipment and ensure supplies, instruments, and implants are available. Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care throughout the surgical experience. Participate in the required call rotation and respond within the established callback timeframe.
Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience . Required experience in robotics, orthopedics, and urology . Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Ability to perform circulating and/or scrubbing duties as required.
