12-hour day shifts Start Date: November 2, 2026 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 1, 2027 Call: No call Setting: Fully on-site operating room Operating Room Nurse Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and eligibility to practice in Colorado At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, including operating room experience Recent experience circulating orthopedic surgical cases Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing, surgical safety, infection prevention, and surgical counts Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and the perioperative team Willingness to complete an on-site travel nursing assignment in Meeker, Colorado Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities Circulate preoperative orthopedic cases and support safe, efficient surgical workflows Complete preoperative nursing assessments and verify patient identity, procedure, surgical site, and consent information Coordinate with the surgical team to maintain appropriate supplies, equipment, and operating room readiness Monitor patient safety throughout the perioperative process and promptly communicate changes in condition Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow established policies for infection prevention and surgical counts Collaborate with the multidisciplinary operating room team to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care Enjoy the scenic landscapes, outdoor recreation, and relaxed small-town atmosphere of Western Colorado while advancing your travel nursing career.
