Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical services team. This position requires a professional who is skilled in providing high-quality patient care in the operating room environment. Unit Information Unit Type: OR (Operating Room) Number of Suites: 4 Average Cases per Day: 10 to 20 Common Procedures: General surgery, breast surgeries, orthopedic total joints (excluding spine), urology, gynecology, and robotic surgeries.

BLS (American Heart Association) Shifts & Scheduling This position entails rotating 10-hour shifts from: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM There is limited call, with a backup weekend call of 12 hours that is occasionally rotated among staff. Generally, travelers will not be required to be on call. Qualifications
2 to 4 years of operating room experience preferred. Previous travel experience is a plus.
Proficient in surgical procedures; scrubbing is not required for RNs. Responsibilities Assist in maintaining the flow of operations within the surgical unit. Collaborate with the surgical team, including operating room technicians.
Participate in departmental orientation lasting 2-3 days. Additional Information Floating
May float to Endoscopy if experienced. Dress Code: Provided scrubs. EMR System: Epic.
Call Response Time Expected response time for call is within 30 minutes.
