Registered Nurse – Operating Room / Preoperative Facility Type/Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Surgical Center / Pre-op Shift &
Days; 3×12-hour shifts or 4×10-hour shifts per week. Possible occasional midnight shifts. Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed Contract Length: 13 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Weekend
Rotating weekends; 8-hour shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) on Saturday or Sunday Call
1–2 secondary call assignments per scheduling period; includes a 24-hour weekend call (7:00 AM–7:00 AM). 30-minute response time. Floating: OR holding area. Requirements BLS certification required.
RN license required; facility is willing to wait for licensing. IV skills required. Surgical care knowledge and robotics experience.
Scrubbing required for RNs. Copy of unexpired driver’s license required with submission. Licensing hits must be disclosed at submission. 50-mile radius rule applies.
Responsibilities Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate direct and indirect nursing care for surgical patients. Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative evaluation and care as applicable. Perform scrub and/or circulating nurse duties.
Support preoperative care in the surgical center and OR holding area. Participate in weekend rotations and assigned call coverage.
