Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) Start Date: 11/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading healthcare facility as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Abingdon, VA. This is a contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic operating room environment. You will be part of a dedicated team, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
The position requires a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekend and weekday call responsibilities possible. AHA BLS certification is required, and travelers must have a permanent residence located 100 miles or more from the hospital's service area. General orientation will begin on Sundays, with online CBLs to be completed.
The traveler can start any Sunday, provided compliance documents are completed by the deadline. Please note that there will be 16 hours of non-billable orientation included. The hospital reserves the right to cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if there is a decrease in census.
