Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nursing program. Minimum 3 years of operating room (OR) experience. Trauma experience is mandatory.
Circulating RN experience is required. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory. Current, applicable Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
BSN is highly preferred but not mandatory. Must be available for on-call shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and designated holidays. Must be experienced in preparing operating rooms, maintaining aseptic techniques, coordinating surgical care, and assisting with intraoperative patient safety.
Perform circulating duties during surgical procedures. Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies. Maintain sterile technique and comply with operating room safety protocols.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other surgical team members. Assess, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care. Provide trauma coverage and participate in required on-call and holiday schedules.
