Days, 4x12hrs Hours: 48 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room with 3+ years of OR experience and Level I or II trauma experience for a Level 1 Trauma Center. Details Level 1 Trauma Center with 41 operating rooms Caseload includes General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgery procedures 1:1 patient ratio Day shift, 4x12 hour shifts starting at 0645, with occasional floats to 0845 and 1045 starts Occasional floating to night shifts, up to 3 shifts per contract Floating required to other UCH operating rooms as needed Weekend coverage required per unit needs On-call responsibilities as needed, approximately 3 shifts per 8-week schedule period Requirements Active RN license (CO or Compact) required BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience required Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required Epic EMR experience required At least one completed travel assignment required Skilled in procedures across Gynecology, Plastics, Neurology, Trauma, General Surgery, Urology, and ENT specialties Experience circulating craniotomy cases required Additional Information Provide circulating and scrub support across a high-volume, multi-specialty OR environment Complete all facility-specific onboarding modules within the first week of assignment Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates within the last two years will not be considered Travelers who completed a full year on assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before rebooking Maximum of 10 RTO days per 13-week contract, with blackout dates during late October, late November, and late December through early January No blocked scheduling requests permitted First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible for a reduced bill rate
