Variable, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring 3+ years of OR experience and Epic proficiency. Details Work in the Operating Room/Surgical Services department of a Level 1 Trauma Center 22-bed unit serving all patient ages with a 1:1 patient ratio Common procedures include Ortho, Gyn, OB, Plastics, General, Cardiovascular, Neuro, Urology, Breast, and Podiatry cases Uses Epic EMR Varied shift schedule including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, and 3-11 shifts, plus weekend daylight shifts Weekend coverage required every other weekend or as needed Call requirements of one to two times per week in 8-hour increments Floating required as needed Requirements Active RN license (PA or Compact) required Current
BLS, ACLS, and CPI/HWC Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Robotics experience required Level 1 trauma experience preferred Charge RN experience preferred Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties Report to the Director of Surgical Services and OR Nurse Manager Orientation held weekly on Mondays Blue scrubs provided; casual attire not permitted Candidates must complete PA-specific background clearances including Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services Fingerprinting, and PATCH State Police Clearance prior to start Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time during the assignment
